Four steps to a plan you can trust

From a rough sketch to a to-scale layout, the whole point is that the measurements are real.

  1. 1

    Import

Drop in a photo or sketch of your floor plan, or start from a blank page.

  2. 2

    Calibrate

Click one wall and type its real length. Everything else scales to match.

  3. 3

    Trace

Draw your rooms over the plan, corners and edges snap as you go.

  4. 4

    Furnish

Place doors, windows and furniture at true-to-life sizes, and see what fits.

Built for real rooms, not blueprints

Real, standard sizes

Every sofa, bed and appliance uses actual dimensions, so “it fits” means it actually fits.

Snapping that behaves

Walls, corners and neighbouring pieces snap cleanly; nudge with arrow keys for the last millimetre.

Measure anything

A built-in tape measure, per-wall lengths and per-room area totals, in metric or imperial.

Export & share

Save a clean PNG or PDF, or send a read-only link so anyone can view your plan.

Yours, on your device

Plans save locally in your browser, no account needed to start sketching.

Calm, not CAD

A warm, forgiving canvas that reads like graph paper, friendly enough for the kitchen table.

Why Fittro?

Most room planners are overbuilt, subscription-locked, or make you sign up before you can try a thing. Fittro takes the opposite approach.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Planning and saving in your browser are free (a free account unlocks saving and export). A one-time $5 for a year adds cloud save across devices and shareable links.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Fittro runs entirely in your web browser on laptop or tablet, nothing to download.

How accurate are the measurements?

As accurate as your calibration. Set one known wall length and everything scales to real millimetres. Furniture uses true standard sizes, so a “fits” is a real fit.

Metric or imperial?

Both, switch anytime. Measurements stay exact; only the display units change.

Can I use a photo of a hand-drawn plan?

Yes. Import a photo or sketch, calibrate it against a known length, and trace your rooms right over it.

Where are my plans stored?

Free plans live in your browser on this device. The $5/year plan stores them in the cloud so you can open them anywhere.
